The Tampa Bay Partnership Regional Research and Education Foundation began an effort to develop a shared regional vision for the seven-county Tampa Bay region to answer the question: how can the overall region prosper from a position of strength, diversity, opportunity, and economic vitality over the long term as we continue to grow?
The regional visioning process, now known as ONE BAY, drills deep on the issues that are most critical to the region’s future – not only the most urgent or pressing – but those issues that can only be most successfully addressed with a long-term view and commitment in mind. Each initiative below is managed by a collection of regional organizations.

There is a clear emphasis on putting business and civic leadership and momentum behind the goals that need to be advanced for the region’s economic viability and overall quality of life to be enhanced. The entire region, as well as each community and county that is a part, will benefit from a shared vision that will spur more regional collaboration, goal-setting, and accountability.
