Facilitators
The Collaborative Labs of St. Petersburg College will be providing Facilitators for the Reality Check Tampa Bay exercise. Facilitators are the “captains” of each table at the visioning exercise. You will give instructions, guide the discussion, help the participants reach consensus, keep the exercise moving, assure that the Scribe records appropriate information, and assist in the counting of blocks after the exercise is concluded.
Computer Operator/Scribes
Reality Check Tampa Bay is seeking 30+ Computer Operators/Scribes who can be available for the full day on May 18, 2007. Each computer operator/scribe will each be assigned to a table at the visioning exercise. You will work closely with the facilitator at the table to record on the laptop computer the participant discussion, and assist in the counting of the blocks after the exercise is concluded.
As computer operators/scribes you will also play a critical role in Reality Check and will also be expected to:
-
Participate in the “dress rehearsal” to be held the night before the exercise, May 17, 2007. This should last about two hours from 6 pm - 8 pm.
-
Review the Participant Guidebook prior to event, which can be found on the website,
www.realitychecktampabay.org
-
Acquire a good understanding of the geography of your region. (A map will be available at the training in case there are questions.)
Observers/Table Resource Point Person
Reality Check Tampa Bay is also seeking 30+ individuals to be assigned to each table to help observe and serve as a resource to the facilitator/scribe for the duration of the exercise and also assist in the counting of the blocks after the exercise is concluded.
